WWE Super ShowDown 2019: 6 Most Likely Outcomes

1. The Undertaker Vs. Goldberg Will Be Short (And Surprisingly Sweet)

20 years ago, a collision between The Undertaker and Goldberg would have been the very definition of a "dream match". Heck, even 10 years ago, it would have been something to marvel at. Now, however, it just seems wrong - mainly because scheduling this for Super ShowDown with no build-up was a painfully predictable move on WWE's part.

That aside, the main issue that fans have with this match is that these two semi-retired superstars are long-past their prime and yet their clash is likely going to end up main-eventing the show. Furthermore, expectations are incredibly low, simply because 'Taker hasn't had a brilliant match in about four years and Goldberg can't seem to wrestle for more than five minutes. However, that right there may be this one's saving grace.

For some reason, WWE continues to force 'The Phenom' to wrestle drawn-out half-hour bouts that are, at times, hard to watch because it's clear that he's no longer on the level that he once was. However, in short bursts, he still looks every bit the immortal 'Deadman' that he used to be - so in a way, it actually makes sense to pair him with an opponent notorious for brief outings.

As expectations are quite low here, all this match really has to do is remotely entertain and, given that a short contest benefits everyone involved, that could be the key to doing just that - keeping the mystique alive and ultimately making for a more enjoyable bout.
