During his comeback appearances, Bill Goldberg made sure to note that he wasn't a sprightly young fighter willing to step up against Brock Lesnar. Instead, he was an old hand who recognised his limitations and promised to do his best again the planet's most dangerous warrior. That's a cool story.

Since then, things have switched a little. On the latest Raw, Goldberg forced Lesnar to back down and walk away. Still, it's unlikely that he will match Brock hold-for-hold come Survivor Series. The narrative may revolve around Goldberg struggling to keep pace with Lesnar, mainly due to the fact he hasn't wrestled in over a decade.

It'd be shocking if Goldberg vs. Lesnar went past the 15-minute mark. This is a match that requires explosion to work properly. A long, drawn out affair doesn't fit the bill here. Goldberg and Brock would surprise many if they pieced together a match going half an hour, for example.

That said, what if it does happen? There are ample shortcuts at hand, including weapons, interference and other stalling tactics. It'd be shocking, yet far from impossible.
