WWE Survivor Series 2017: 10 Swerves That Could Happen

6. Jinder Mahal Being Added To Lesnar vs. Styles

The name Jinder Mahal is a glaring omission from the Survivor Series card. Jinder had been WWE Champion for much of 2017, so it's pretty weird that he's not even on one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year. The Kickoff show could change that, at the risk of upsetting fans who can't wait for AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar one-on-one.

Mahal is supposed to get heat and annoy fans, however. If he somehow wormed his way into the situation and made it a Triple Threat, the 'Champion vs. Champion' branding would disappear, but (and this is a big but) that was hardly a selling point to begin with. Though some fans may not like it, Jinder deserves to stick around for a while - a head canon ranking system should logically demand it.

WWE would have to brace themselves for fan backlash online and boos from the live crowd if they did this. Mahal was an experiment many wished to move on from when he was still champion - and he hasn't convinced the vast majority of fans that he's a top guy.

This feeds that story.
