6. Ryback

If the prospective Lesnar match falls through, this is a strong possibility. There are many problems though. After the past five years of marquee Taker matches at the big one, this would be a significant downturn in quality. Ryback is the worst booked wrestler in the company right now. He can't buy a win on PPV so why should we think that he could turn it around against the streak? This match, if it was to happen, would need to focus on a Ryback who has been beaten down and needs personal validation. He's a big man but not particularly fast so Taker would really need to tell the story here. Ironically, if he was still a 'Heyman Guy' then this story could work out because it would be about Heyman trying to break the streak after failing with Punk last year. Unfortunately, Ryback is a lone wolf again and with that comes a fading force who is rapidly falling to the lower mid-card.
