WWE WrestleMania 42: 20 Things That NEED To Happen

11. The 'Demon' Makes Short Work Of Dom

This has to happen, right? Like, there’s no way WWE can announce that Finn Bálor’s ‘Demon’ persona is back in advance then book it in a competitive back and forth with Dominik Mysterio. That’s no insult to ‘Dirty Dom’, but it’s just the way it is. This match has to be pretty swift and just a greatest hits tour of Bálor’s slingblade, foot stomp from the top rope etc.

It doesn’t have to be lengthy just because this is WrestleMania. In fact, if this pair are handed longer than 10 minutes then they'll start to struggle and/or Bálor's alter ego will only look weak. Enough damage has been done to 'The Demon' in recent times - that face painted former thriller doesn't need anymore pain.

He's had enough.

Many agree that it would've been better to keep the 'Demon' aspect back as a shock on the night rather than revealing it ahead of time. That would've been worth it for Mysterio's scared facial expressions, but now he knows exactly who (or what) is coming through the curtain and crawling down the aisle. On that, say a prayer for Finn's legs if he's crawling all the way down one of those epic ramps WWE uses for WrestleMania.

There's no title up for grabs in this match, and they're not really fighting for the future of Judgment Day. Keep it short and on the sweeter side, or else. It literally needs to be 5 minutes. Even that aforementioned 10 sounds just a little too long for something so clearly designed to be babyface retribution.
