WWE WrestleMania 42: 20 Things That NEED To Happen

7. A Brutal Side Of Sami Zayn Emerges

Post-match (or even during it right towards the end), Sami can go old school ECW hardcore on Trick and Lil Yachty to hammer home his heel turn and how vicious he plans to be. Yachty should take a bullet for Williams to cement their friendship and put more sympathy on both too. Why not if he's going to continue on as a semi-regular character on TV?

Having Zayn yell, “You made me do this” over and over again could be powerful. Then, he'd grasp at a nearby microphone and say “you” as in "the WWE fanbase". That'd be satisfying, because it's really the people who are pushing Sami towards snapping. That's how he'd see it anyway.

'I told you I wanted to be World Champion and successful for my kid, but then you started booing me for that? Why? Why? Because nobody wants wholesome pro wrestlers anymore? You don't get to decide what's good enough - I do!'. His promos could go something like that.

Not could, should.

Scrap all of the plans to have Zayn play the sympathetic underdog who finally reaches WWE/World Title status. There's a broader heel tale to tell, and it's one that'll send Williams skywards at the same time. That's a win-win scenario for WWE's writers, and they have to go all in on it.

Sami has been a largely smiling, respectable personality for long enough. Now, it's high time he showed off his more vicious side and explored that like his good buddy Kevin Owens before him. Trick would have a proverbial crimson mask to go along with his newly won title.
