WWE's 20 Greatest Couples

15. AJ Lee & Daniel Bryan

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OsEi7I58Ro In November of 2011, Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee began a relationship, with AJ being the supportive and affectionate girlfriend while D-Bry refused to even say "I love you" in return. The more loyal AJ was, the more abusive Bryan became verbally and mentally, constantly stating that AJ was getting in his way or demanding that she "shut up." This made AJ increasingly sympathetic to the WWE Universe and made Bryan universally despised. At WrestleMania XXVIII, Bryan lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Sheamus in eighteen seconds thanks to Bryan being distracted with a good luck kiss from AJ. When Bryan turned around, he found himself being leveled by a Brogue Kick! Bryan, naturally, blamed the entire fiasco on AJ before dumping her. This led to AJ's emotional downward spiral as she began toying with people's minds and emotions thanks to the humiliation of Bryan breaking her heart. Former best friend Kaitlyn and Bryan's rivals, Kane & CM Punk, all found themselves on the receiving end of AJ's psychotic tailspin along with Bryan. AJ even managed to put Bryan and Punk through a table at the same time! Eventually, the two found themselves getting married with AJ getting the ultimate revenge by leaving Bryan at the altar and announcing that she was now his boss as the General Manager of RAW! As one final stab in the heart, AJ revealed she knew Bryan only wanted to marry her so he could have the legal right to have her committed and was ordering that he undergo his own psychological evaluation. Thanks to their relationship, more focus was put on AJ, who would become the most popular Diva since the days of Mickie James, thereby helping the struggling Divas' Division. As for Daniel Bryan, I believe it's safe to say he came out just fine in the end. If you don't know why, tune into RAW sometime.
