What Happened: Having eliminated every other man in the eponymous main event, Braun Strowman is battered black and blue by a resurgent Roman Reigns, who bags himself yet another WrestleMania main event. Of course.

The men's Elimination Chamber was a perfectly passable match, but one which could never escape the weight of its pre-ordained outcome.

Many long-term fans once jaded by the years of John Cena dominance revelled in the former perennial champ being ground into mincemeat by Braun Strowman, but it was a bittersweet moment, as Roman Reigns was once again positioned as John's spiritual successor. WWE delivered decisively and diligently on the expected, exhausting disappointment, as we all sighed at the prospect of another Roman Reigns WrestleMania.
