3. Heating Up Women’s Tag Division

The women’s tag team division has been one of the bright spots for WWE in the latter half of 2025, and they had another good night on Monday.

The Kabuki Warriors delivered a pretty decent pre-taped promo, with Asuka and Kairi Sane focusing their venom on Iyo Sky for betraying her family and refusing to apologize for siding with Rhea Ripley. Because she chose Rhea, both women would “know nothing but pain.”

Later, Rhea and Iyo made their way out to the ring, but Asuka popped up in the crowd along the barricade and misted Ripley, while Kairi dove off the barricade and dropped Sky. The Kabukis laid out both women, with Iyo covering Rhea and taking an Insane Elbow while protecting her blinded friend.

Beating up two very popular babyfaces with a no-frills, no-nonsense sneak attack? Perfectly good stuff from the heel champs, and it raises the temperature for their Women’s Tag Team Championship match in three weeks.
