The new series from writers Scott Snyder and Charles Soule, and artists Danielle Orlandi and Giuseppe Camuncoli, Undiscovered Country picks up with a team composed of politicians, scientists and doctors flying into the United States.

Sounds pretty tamed right? Wrong. This a United States that's been closed off from the rest of the world for the last thirty years, with no one having set foot inside after the U.S. closed off its borders.

Now, struggling to fight an outbreak of a virus with no known cure, a strange transmission comes from someone claiming to be from the U.S. with a cure to this new disease and willing to provide it to the rest of the world. Faced with no other choice, the team boards a helicopter and sets off for the U.S., planning to get the cure and document as much of the U.S. as they can.

Except plans go out the window the minute the helicopter gets shot down after it gets past the Californian coast and enters U.S. airspace. Now stranded, the team has to find a way to get the cure and escape this mysterious land.
