With all the new X-Men books currently being released and even more soon to debut, it's understandable that some hidden gems might get lost in the shuffle. If you're following the new X-Men relaunch then don't allow X-Men/Fantastic Four to fly under your radar.

Issue one proved this series is going to be very important, and will influence both the Fantastic Four's and the X-Men's dynamics going forward.

Unlike other tie-in series, X-Men/Fantastic Four isn't written by either writer currently on the Fantastic Four or X-Men series. Instead it's being written by Chip Zdarsky - who's currently on Daredevil - with art by Terry Dodson.

The story picks up with a thread first teased back in House of X #1 where the X-Men made it clear that they were interested in Franklin Richards joining them on Krakoa. But as one would expect, Sue and Reed aren't about to just let their teenage son leave home and join some new and mysterious nation just because he's a mutant.
