10 Best Comic First Issues This Week (Dec 26, 2018)

Cloak and Dagger are back again in another Marvel Digital Original only this time there's a few kinks in their relationship. Dagger is dating a dude at the police station they consult with, which is basically just being on-call superheroes, and Cloak meets a thrill-seeking gal who loves playing in his dark. Yet at the end of the day, Tandy and Tyrone can still sit together and watch cheesy horror movies together.

Due to the strictly digital distribution, Dennis Hopeless is given a freedom with the characters to be able to flesh out the character development more than just have quiet moments between the action beats. Yes, Chapter 2 is mostly a zombie romp until the inevitable confrontation between Mr. Negative and Dagger, who's with her boyfriend in the zombie temple when it happens.

For fans of these characters, this is a must read and a brilliant continuation for the characters. Even though the 616 versions of Cloak and Dagger have a very different history than the television series, that never fully comes up, so this acts as a book for them as well. Adding onto that, Mister Negative and his army of henchmen from the hit Spider-Man game acts as the big bad. That certainly counts as a massive reason for everyone to check this out!
