10 Best Female Characters In The Batman Universe

2. Catwoman

Stephanie Brown Batgirl

Of the three Gotham City Sirens, Catwoman is the true antihero of the bunch, with Ivy and number one Batman lady Harley Quinn more of your villain turned occasional hero. Teaming up with Batman as often as she’s stealing from Gotham’s elite, Selina Kyle is a key character in Batman’s folklore.

She’s been around since Batman’s first ever run in 1940, initially known as The Cat before being established as Catwoman. Though the manic head to heads with the Joker will steal the headlines, she’s arguably been one of the most consistently complex characters the Dark Knight has dealt with.

Though he has had other love interests, she is by far the most well known and best developed.

The only saving grace of the awful Halle Berry movie was that she was playing a new character, Patience Phillips, and therefore it can’t be used to tarnish Selina Kyle’s name. Now, let’s never speak of it again.
