10 Best Inventions Tony Stark Ever Made

Hilariously, one of Iron Man's best inventions is also one we haven't seen in an ungodly long time, as it appeared all the way back in 1963 with the inconspicuous release of the Tales of Suspense #42.

Much as the name suggests, the Disintegrator Ray was capable of completely destroying whatever it was aimed at, including both organic and inorganic matter. Stranger still, the ray is stored not in some kind of scary-looking device, but in what appears to be a totally normal flashlight, meaning Stark designed something that could destroy all matter that is also conveniently pocket-sized.

As this was also the era where Tony made questionable creations such as the 'rocket-powered rollerblades', it seems as though the Disintegrator Ray should likely get some bonus points for being an invention that actually made sense - as much as we all wish Stark still traveled mainly via some sweet roller skates.
