10 Best Times Spider-Man Teamed Up

For many, myself included, their first introduction to Daredevil was the nineties Spider-Man animated tv show. Pete had been framed for domestic terrorism for some reason, and Matt Murdock walked in to help prove his innocence.

Way before that episode aired though the pair had had numerous team ups: Daredevil Vol 5 #9 wherein the world has forgotten Matt Murdock, leaving Pete teamed up with a Daredevil he only half remembered; the Spectacular Spider-Man Vol 1 #27, a fun little story that involved a temporarily blind Spider-Man needing to be helped by Murdock - quite literally a case of the blind leading the blind.

But perhaps their best team up is when they came at odds with one another in Spectacular Spider-Man Vol 1 #110, during the Death of Jean DeWolff storyline. The pair came to blows in this issue when Daredevil stopped Spidey from murdering a serial killer in blind rage. Throughout the comic, they continue to butt heads over conflicting ideologies, trading opinions upon a rooftop akin to Matt's conversations with the Punisher in his Netflix TV show.

This issue highlighted why Murdock's and Parker's friendship is so strong. Despite the differences in their beliefs, and challenging one another upon their approaches to giving justice, Matt never gave up on Pete, and Pete stuck by his friend's side. Thankfully, by the end of the issue, the lawyer was able to calm the web head out of his rage, leaving them to embark on other team-ups in the years to come.
