3. The 1,000,000 BC Avengers

This new aspect of Marvel ancient history suggests some big upheavals to come for the company's universe.

Marvel made a fairly big push for this ancient group of Avengers consisting of Odin, the Phoenix, Iron Fist, Black Panther, Ghost Rider, Starbrand and Agamotto, the then Sorcerer Supreme, as a team of heroes protecting the Earth at the very dawn of man.

However, in all, they don't get much to do in Marvel Legacy #1, but their actions will seem to affect the whole Marvel Universe in the months to come.

Having defeated a fallen Celestial and left the remains to be buried in the continent of South Africa, the infected being is later discovered and starts to stir, eventually being found by Loki. Moreover, the wildly out-of-character Starbrand (of the modern day) is battling Ghost Rider over this very entity, wanting it to stay buried.

With the consequences of their actions clearly spelling trouble for the Marvel Universe in the immediate future, it's safe to say we will see more of and learn more about the 1,000,000 BC Avengers sooner rather than later.
