6. It's Warren Mears, But Not As We Know Him...

The last time we saw good ol' Warren, he was having the skin flayed off his bones by an epically pissed-off Willow after he had accidentally shot her girlfriend Tara in Season 6. He shortly disappeared in a puff of smoke, which most thought was the end of Mr. Mears, but what ACTUALLY happened - insert retcon here - was that another witch and sometime rodent Amy had used her magic to whisk him away and keep him from dying the agonising death that he probably would have preferred to being kept alive and skinless. Amy and Warren are the nominal Big Bads of Season 8, though they're quickly swept under the rug when Twilight properly rears his head, and they're mostly used to lend a familiar face to the scenes of evil plotting between General Voll and Twilight. What's perhaps weirdest about Warren and Amy is not that they've got grudges against the Scoobies or even that Warren looks like a rare steak with eyes, but probably the fact that they're boyfriend and girlfriend. Figure that one out, if you dare.
