8. Martian Manhunter (DC Comics)

Martian Manhunter essentially has very similar physical statistics to Superman, but a whole load of other powers that make him even more powerful than the Man of Steel and grant him a place on this list of characters with versatile powersets. His strength is in the same ball park as guys like Superman, given that he has done things like lift huge boulders, buildings and vessels, as well as having casually thrown people over 100 miles with perfect accuracy, though not quite on the same level. His durability is on a similar level to guys like Superman too, given that the two have exchanged blows before and taken them without any damage. Martian Manhunter also has incredible speed. For example, he has flown across a city to get in between a man and some bullets in the time it took the bullets to get halfway. He has also flown around the world and smashed several giant machines, then speedblitzed some White martians in the time it took someone to draw breath. Most impressively, speed wise, he has flown alongside Superman, going at full speed, and kept up comfortably. Given that Superman can move at around the speed of light, that says how fast Martian Manhunter can travel. His more esoteric powers include the ability to turn intangible, the ability to turn invisible, the ability to alter his appearance (or shapeshift), telekinesis and telepathy that is on a par with well-known telepaths like Marvel's Professor X. Martian Manhunter also has healing powers that are on a par with Wolverine's (he has been turned to goo and full regenerated in seconds) and the same kind of super-breath and heat vision that Superman has.
