10 Comic Book Characters Who Didn't Deserve The Hate

The unfortunate thing about Riri Williams is that she is a case of a super interesting character whose initial introduction to Marvel universe sparked serious hate for the character.

When Williams was created, it appeared as though intentions were for her to replace Iron Man - with Tony falling into a coma and Riri basically take up his mantle - which people naturally weren't stoked about.

While it's understandable that people were riled at the fact that the character had been handled clumsily, this doesn't justify them hating the character herself - as Riri is, for all her clunky introduction, a really interesting character to have contrasting Stark himself.

After Tony came back through some convenient death-dodging plot devices and became the 'official' Iron Man again, it seems silly to hold any hostility towards Ironheart, as the potential for her and Iron Man to properly share some time on page could really create an unusual and interesting run for both characters.
