10 Coolest Well-Known Male Villain Costumes In Comics

2. Orange Lantern Lex Luthor (DC Comics)

DC ComicsDC ComicsLex Luthor doesn't normally wear a typical villain costume as standard - he's most often seen wearing a trademark suit - and when he does wear one it's usually his very underwhelming armour. However, when he deputised as an Orange Lantern during the 2009-2010 Blackest Night storyline, that armour suddenly looked awesome. Taking on a bright orange colour, emblazoned with the Orange Lantern logo and emitting a powerful orange aura, Luthor's armour improved tenfold and he looked like a god of war. In addition to the armour's usual offensive abilities (energy blasts, super-strength, top durability etc), it was imbued with the powers of a power ring. He could suddenly create constructs and fly and was a cosmic level threat - on top of looking great. It really was a very cool - albeit temporary - look for Lex.
