10 Embarrassing Supervillains Marvel Wants You To Forget

5. Ruby Thursday

The Matador
Marvel Comics

when it comes to supervillains who do some weird stuff to gain powers, there isn't much point in looking further than Ruby Thursday. Thursday was originally a scientist who thought it best to graft an organic computer onto her head composed of a special type of malleable plastic.

This enabled her to form any structure she desired from the thing that was not her head, but that meant she now had a red marble-looking thing for a head. Whatever her reason for doing this, it's not something many people would ordinarily choose to do.

Regardless, she did it and even ran for President of the United States, but was forced to drop out. She eventually becomes a true supervillain who battles the likes of the Incredible Hulk and Spider-Man.

While the character remains in some fashion throughout the modern Marvel canon, she isn't one of the best supervillains the team has put together. Her powers allow her to do any number of things with her head, but in the end, she's little more than a woman's body with a strange red thing atop her neck.
