Spider-Man and Deadpool first meet in Deadpool #11 (1997). After that, they continued to have overlapping stories and team-ups. Spider-Man is deeply moral. Deadpool is as moral as he thinks he is at any given moment but he tends to work as a violent assassin. Their popularity led to them getting their own title, Spider-Man/Deadpool (2016) which ran for over 3 years.
Deadpool wants to learn how to be a better person and looks to Spider-Man to help mentor him in the art of goodness. The two fight crime and occasionally each other, and do fun stuff like taking a friendship road trip.
