If you ever thought comics were difficult to comprehend, look no further than Action Comics #592. Published in 1987, the John Byrne comic features Big Barda and Superman being mentally manipulated into having a sex tape, much to the chagrin of Barda's husband, Mister Miracle.

Byrne had the idea for a villain that tries to mind control Big Barda and Superman into making a sex tape, and seemingly nobody thought that was a particularly bad or crazy scheme for a villain to have. They did at least name said villain Sleez, so hopefully most readers got a sense of what they were in for.

Of all of this, the most insane part by far is that it does not appear to be explained to Mister Miracle when he comes to rescue them - who is, you know, Barda's husband - exactly what series of events lead to his beloved wife and the Man of Steel almost being in a recorded bone session.

Even Darkseid explains more, having shown up at Mister Miracle's house with a tape of his wife belly dancing under Sleez's mind-control - though that may have also been just to solidly cement that he had nothing to do with one of the weirdest and most uncomfortable plots DC has put out in a good long time.
