10. Hillbilly Hulk - Old Man Logan
Old Man Logan. It's awesome. Everybody knows about it. But originally this spot was going to go to the Venomsaurus Rex for being just righteous - with an origin given in Old Man Hawkeye #6 that is really hard to top - BUT what left readers more in disbelief was the Hulk of this wasteland.
This was not the iconic rage-monster that long-time readers knew or the Hulk with Banner's brains that has become popular more recently. This was a cannibal Hulk that had sired a brood of inbred monsters with his cousin, She-Hulk - but that's not even how he's revealed. It is upon the Hills Have Hulks gang being massacred by an angry Logan that we see just how insane this future Hulk is and how un-heroic the world has made him.
As surprising as most of the other reveals are in this story, this future of the Hulk is so out there that it has become a punchline in its own rights.
