10 Insane Times Heroes Became Horror Villains

3. The Hulk - Old Man Logan

The Hulk as a horror villain is a no-brainer (the guy is already a big green Jekyll and Hyde) but it took the always-edgy Mark Millar to make the jump, in his celebrated, iconic Old Man Logan miniseries.

Turned cannibal in his old age, Hulk (with some help from puny Banner) had Logan's family brutally murdered as punishment for accrued debts. During their confrontation, Banner transformed into the Hulk and ate Wolverine whole, which - in usual circumstances - wouldn't be good news for the erstwhile X-Man.

You literally can't keep a good mutie down though and, healing up in the Hulk's stomach, Logan cut his way out and finally finished the Hulk - and Bruce Banner - off for good.

The Hulk has since turned villain on and off throughout continuities, but none pack the punch of Old Man Logan's terrifying, grizzled, man-eating Hillbilly.
