10 Judge Dredd Comics You Must Read Before You Die

Necropolis asks the question: "what would happen Judge Dredd just decided to pack it all in?" The answer to which is "qell, the Sisters of Death would take over the city and turn it into a living nightmare, silly."

When Dredd quits during the 'Tale of the Dead Men' arc, it isn't long before the aforementioned Sisters move into Mega-City One. Making their own Hell on Earth, they bring forth the release of the Dark Judges who revel in their new found freedom, killing ten thousand citizens each day just for the fun of it.

With PSI Judge Kit Agee as their anchor to the world, it seems that nothing can save the citizens of the Mega-City until Dredd returns from his exile and proceeds to do the impossible, once again.

Forming his own army of refugees from Undercity, they storm the walls and destroy Dunc Renaldo block, killing Agee and severing the Sisters psychic link to this plane. With them sent screaming back to Deadworld, the Judges will hunt down and capture their dark counterparts, all except Judge Death who escapes into the ether, to wait and plot his return.
