Jonathon Ohnn was a Harvard educated scientist who was unfortunate enough to be hired by the Kingpin. While performing an experiment aimed at replicating the powers of Cloak, he ends being transported to a separate dimension.

He is eventually able to find the portal that took him there and return to his lab. However, upon re-emerging, he realizes his whole body had been pinned with portals, allowing Ohnn to transport himself and other things from one place to another via these black gateways.

His first act is to come to the aid of his employer when Kingpin is being confronted by the duo of Spider-Man and Black Cat. Amazingly enough, his unique powers prove too much for the heroes as he is able to defeat Spider-Man on his debut.

Since then he has gone on to clash with Spidey on numerous other times, as well as Daredevil and even the Mandarin, making him another character with multiple possible points of entry into the MCU. What makes Spot such a good pick as a future MCU villain is the creative potential of any scene involving him.

The guy can transport fists thrown at him so that the person ends up punching themselves. With Marvel’s resources and talent, it could lead to some truly memorable action sequences that are unlike anything we have seen in the 14 years thus far.
