Sacrifice is a key part of any badass hero’s repertoire. As such, Daredevil sacrificing how heightened his senses are – ending up needing a seeing eye dog – to save the sight of the inhabitants of Hell’s Kitchen is an undeniably badass move.

Making this all the more better is the fact that it takes place in issue 1.50 of the 2014 series, which is set when Daredevil is fifty, making him maybe the most hardcore quinquagenarian to date.

That said, it's the bravery of his actions that mean the most, not his age, as this exact scenario must be something out of Matt Murdock’s most elaborate nightmare. Having literally lost his sight initially due to radiation, Daredevil doesn't even hesitate when he has to face the exact trauma purposefully again.
