7. Nix Uotan
The Monitors are among the most powerful beings in the entire DC multiverse, and are burdened with a responsibility becoming of their power - they're the guardians of the entire multiverse itself.
Think about it. Some fictional gods only have to worry about one universe at a time, let alone the 52 that exist across the DCU. It's an incredible burden to take on, and while most Monitors could outrank DC's entire roster in terms of power levels alone, there is one that could be considered the cream of the crop - Nix Uotan.
Uotan featured heavily in Final Crisis as one of the most storied Monitors around, but was unfortunately stripped of his powers by his colleagues. This didn't stop Nix from finding out a way to defeat Darkseid and the vampiric Dark Monitor Dax Novu though, as he eventually sacrificed all Monitors to ensure the survival of the multiverse.
Nix would again return post-Final Crisis in Multiversity, which formed a part of DC's New 52 continuity. In this reality, Nix is the last of the Monitors and a being known as the Superjudge, which means he watches over DC's entire multiverse on his own. Still, it's not as if he isn't equipped for the task at hand, as Nix possesses a near ludicrous array of powers, most of which are apparently beyond our comprehension anyway.
