10 Most Powerful X-Men Villains
2. Apocalypse
Long ago, En Sabah Nur, was born in Aqaba, where he may have been the first person born with the X-gene. When he was born, he had grey skin and blue lips, so he was abandoned by his people but later rescued by Baal of the Sandstormers.
He lived a hard life, and grew to become a good man, but after Kang the Conquerer traveled to the past and assumed the role of Pharoah Rama-Tut, the young mutant was nearly killed in an attack. He fled to a cave with Baal, and before he passed, he revealed ancient Celestial technology, which he used alongside his mutant abilities to become immensely powerful.
From the point his powers fully manifested, he no longer aged, and as far as anyone can tell, he's immortal. His powers are vast, and with his age being measured in millennia instead of decades, he's racked up some experiences over the years.
His list of powers includes superhuman strength, speed, durability, and stamina alongside the ability to fly, manipulate matter and energy, shapeshift, access the astral plane, telekinesis, teleportation, telepathy, technopathy, consciousness transfer, genius-level intellect, and many more. He can remake a person into a more powerful being, so he can use them for his purposes, and he is, without a doubt, the greatest threat the X-Men have ever faced.
