10 Most Underrated Flash Villains

2. Mirror Master

Trickster Flash
DC Comics

Mirror Master is one Rogue on this list whose abilities lend themselves to the use of surreal, almost psychedelic visuals in the comics he features in. Since the villain's inception in 1959, there have been two characters who donned the moniker of the illusory villain.

The first, Sam Scudder, was a convict who desired to enter a mirror's reflection. After experimenting with a hall of mirrors, he gained the ability to manipulate his own reflection. This was somewhat referenced in the New 52 with the only difference being that the new incarnation was trapped in the Mirror Dimension.

Evan McCulloch is a Scottish mercenary who is given the original Mirror Master's costume and weaponry by a branch of the American government. He goes up against Animal Man, the Flash (Wally West), and even the Justice League at some point.

Both versions of the villain feature reflection/deception-themed abilities such as invisibility, hypnosis, holograms, transforming people and objects to mirrors, and transporting into the Mirror Dimension and other planes of existence.
