5. Stole A Kid’s Report Card
While the Joker may have gained a reputation of late for being a terrifying villain prone to sadistic, brutal acts of violence and murder, he wasn’t always this murderous.
In the early days of the character, the Joker was, as his name suggests, a villain who just took it upon himself to annoy the general public (and Batman) in the most dastardly of ways.
His plans would often just involve the Joker getting revenge for some kind of annoyance that he had suffered, or just wreaking havoc to keep himself from succumbing to boredom during those long Gotham winters.
One of his more ridiculous acts of crime came in Batman #13, where the Clown Prince of Crime would go on to snatch a report card from a boy as he retrieved it from the mail, before then shouting ‘Ha, I’ve made someone cry.’ Snatching a report card from a young boy and taking glee in it is truly fiendish indeed.
