10 Terrible Comic Book Moments That Could Have Been Saved With One Simple Twist

2. The Bladder Spasm

Shadowland 1 Daredevil Kills Bullseye

The Widening Gyre was not solely weird due to it containing the weed smoking Poison Ivy, it's worth noting - in fact, a dank Pamela is arguably one of the least glaringly strange moments of the series.

As the weirdest has to be when Batman - completely unprompted - reveals to his new ally Baphomet that he once misjudged an explosion and the result caused him to have a "bladder spasm" and wet himself.

Now, as weird as it is to consider this, the issue isn't that a young Batman once pissed himself after an explosion mishap - it's rather the weird, really direct way we're told this. The Dark Knight has known Baphomet for a handful of pages at this point, and yet he's sharing some secrets that would ruin his rep because... well, because?

Had Batman referenced this embarrassing event to someone that made more sense for him to trust - say, his sidekick - and mentioned it in more vague terms, we might have not remembered it quite as painfully as we do now.

I like my comics like I like my coffee - in huge, unquestionably unhealthy doses.
