If you're thinking about getting into reading comic books about true crimes then you should definitely remember this name: Rick Geary.

Geary has written literal tonnes of comic books on several horrific murders, robberies and the like from Jack The Ripper all the way on to the Borden Tragedy. He even went so far as to write a whole compendium on a history of Victorian murders.

It is however The Lindbergh Child that has become one of Geary's most notable and well regarded works, largely due to the fascinating nature of the case.

The story follows the true story of the very young son of Charles Lindbergh (who many will know as the famous pilot of the Spirit of St. Louis), simply named Charles Jr., as he is kidnapped and sadly subsequently murdered in what was then known as the "Crime of the Century".

True crime doesn't get much darker than when the death of an infant is involved and the story of blackmail and deception is respectfully and harrowingly told through the pulpy and darkly comic words and illustrations of the event.
