10 Things We Learned From Marvel's September Solicitations

6. Gerry Conway & Erik Larsen Return To Spidey

Carnage (Of The Absolute Variety)
Marvel Comics

For those who have no clue why this is exciting, here's some background on Conway and Larsen.

Conway had a notable run on Spider-Man back in the seventies, a run which included two landmark occurrences - one being the Death of Gwen Stacy, and the other being the introduction of a little known character called the Punisher.

Larsen was the artist to succeed Todd McFarlane on Amazing Spider-Man in the nineties, and his work was instantly recognisable as a signature style for the character.

These two are joined by Mark Bagley, who is held in a similarly high regard when it comes to ol' web head, as well as more yet to be announced creators.

For fans of classic Spider-Man, this one-shot (titled Going Big) will likely be a must-read.
