10 Times Batman Went Too Far
1. All Of It - All Star Batman And Robin
it is quite an accomplishment to have every single panel of every single page feature a character taking things WAY too far, but somehow All Star Batman And Robin accomplished it. Not sure WHY they felt the need to do so, but good for them I suppose?
This series straight up murdered the All Star line of comics for a long ass time until Scott Snyder brought it back for DC Rebirth. The reason for this is because Batman spends literally the entire run of this comic story either insulting everyone he loves, acting unnecessarily brutal towards his enemies, alienating or attacking other superheroes, and banging Black Canary for some reason.
Probably the worst of it is how he acts towards Dick Grayson, a kid who just lost his parents in a similar way to how Bruce lost HIS parents. he isn't just mean to the poor kid, he is cruel, making him eat rats, hurling ableist slurs in his direction, and generally making his already terrible life even more miserable.
Batman goes so far over the line in this series that you suspect there was never a line to begin with. And that's why it gets the #1 spot. Now stop giving Frank Miller things.
