10 Times Spider-Man Was Forced To Kill

5. Teleported Moondark The Magician To His Death

That astral plane business with The Shade isn't the only time Spider-Man and the realms of magic have crossed paths. And not the only time that crossing has involved the web head killing somebody, without much guilt on his part, either.

Marvel Team-Up #12 sees Spidey and Werewolf By Night coming up against Moondark, who you never seen before or since. Still reeling from the deaths of Gwen Stacy and Norman Osborn, Peter Parker's in San Francisco for a much-needed bit of R&R. Which obviously doesn't work out, because this is a superhero comic, and watching Spider-Man as a tourist in his off-hours wouldn't make for a particularly entertaining read.

Most of the issue instead involves Spidey and Werewolf By Night teaming up to fight the Z-list Moondark, which ends when the wallcrawler punches the magician through a portal that teleports him above the Golden Gate Bridge, plummeting to his death. Spidey shrugs: "Even I can't hang around cryin' over spilt magicians!"
