10 Times Superman Was The WORST Superhero (And A Massive A-Hole)

1. He's A Terrible Sportsman

After learning that a group of criminals were planning on rigging a college football game, Superman drugs the star player Tommy Burke and takes his place on the team, leaving the poor kid tied up and unsure of what the hell is going on.

Despite getting into a fight in the locker room and being kicked off the team, the Man of Steel still hits the field and proceeds to beat the crap out of his fellow players until the coach lets him back on. Seeing how great he now is, those crooks decide to kidnap him, but end up coming across the real Tommy.

Superman quickly learns of this but decides to let them have him so HE can play in the big game, and the football player is forced to escape by himself. Left with no other option than to let Tommy finish playing upon his return, Superman takes great delight when he's knocked out seconds after getting his hands on the ball for the first time.

Seeing as he knew who the baddies were here, Superman could have stopped them from the start, but instead enacted an overly convoluted plan because he fancied being a star football player.
