When Marvel approached Brian Michael Bendis to write the new Alias series, it's unlikely they expected him to get graphic so quickly. Despite releasing under the MAX imprint, a scene in issue #1 took things a little too far.

Now, fans of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage's relationship are no strangers to the occasional bit of slap and tickle on the page, but even die-hard fans couldn't sit through this one.

Jessica Jones is having a really bad day. She was assaulted by a client, then mocked by the police officers who came to assist her. As the day comes to an end, Jones visits a local bar and bumps into Cage, who recommends they head back to his place. That's when things start to get a little... Cagey.

In a desperate effort to "feel something new", Jones ends up an all fours, letting Luke "do anything he wanted".

We only ever see her face during the interaction, but that's all the scene needs to make the reader feel deeply uncomfortable. This wasn't fun for her. This just so she could feel something that wasn't complete misery.
