With the Joker escaping Arkham once again, there was some immediate business he had to tend to. The Clown Prince heads immediately to the home of Jim Gordon, as his daughter is about to leave. No sooner had Barbara opened the door, Joker shot her in the stomach, an injury that would paralyse her.

His goons beat Jim unconscious, before taking him to the hideout. However, the Joker himself sticks around for a little while to inflict more torture on the poor woman. With a camera hanging from his neck, he starts to rip Barbara's clothes off while she is bleeding out. It's strongly implied that she was sexually assaulted before he took pictures of her, yet his sick plan wasn't complete just yet.

Back at the hideout, Jim is stripped naked and paraded around on a dog leash as he is taken to the Harlequin of Hate. They pack him onto an old haunted house ride, which has been fitted with huge screens with his daughter's naked body.
