2. The Aristocrats
The Aristocrats are maybe the single best villainous family that could possibly have been made out of a controversial joke format - which, although a cool brag, isn't an especially surprising one, given that they are also the only villainous family based off of a controversial joke.
The Aristocrats joke is a format for making basically the worst thing you could ever say. You say a series of awful things that a family do to (or with) each other during an onstage performance, and then end the joke by giving the name the family perform by: The Aristocrats.
The Aristocrats that fight against the Doom Patrol are no different, as each member of the family is shown involved in some gory, depraved murder spree, with the end of the first issue involving them having them give their name in a similar punchline to the joke itself.
It's totally surreal, in a way that somehow manages to be completely refreshing - in a form quite fitting to the Doom Patrol comics themselves.
