10 Worst Marvel Superhero Costumes Of All Time

5. The Crossing Thor

Emma Frost
Marvel Comics

For the most part over the years, Thor, the God of Thunder, has had a classic look. Silver shields, sometimes four, sometimes six, adorned his blue tunic, and a golden belt was above blue pants and huge knee-high gold boots. A floor-length red cape finished the outfit, and occasionally Thor wore a winged helmet on his shoulder-length golden hair.

By Thor #502, Thor had been through a difficult time and was about to face the betrayal of Tony Stark. His costume and overall look changed dramatically from his classic look. First, his hair now comes past his knees. This is tactically bad because any foe can grab it, and it would definitely get in his face during flights. He is wearing a headpiece that is only open to his face. He is also wearing a half shirt that exposed his mid-drift with a huge chest piece over it that is attached to two large pieces of shoulder armor.

A huge metallic V-shaped pair of trunks with a red belt cover a pair of blue pants that end in grey boots. Seemingly endless lengths of leather straps are wrapped around the boots and over finger-less blue gloves on both arms. And strangely, Mjolnir had a long metal chain attached to it. Not a good look for the God of Thunder.
