Welcome to the end of the world. After the U.S. decides to add China to their War on Terror things escalate quite quickly and soon the missiles are flying. With the world now a nuclear wasteland Old Man Castle comes out of retirement to pass his final judgement on those responsible for murdering the planet.

Another story from the mind of Garth Ennis and drawn by Richard Corben, Punisher The End is a slow burn of a book that doesn't really get to the violence until the final quarter but it is definitely worth the wait. Making his way to one of the few bunkers where the elite are holed up, he takes care of the security teams guarding the place until the only people left are those responsible for the atrocity - those who planned to rise from the ashes of war as overlords.

Just as he is preparing to kill them they explain that they are the only humans left alive on the planet, hoping that he will join them as they create a brave new world. But with Frank being Frank, he decides it's time for the human race to die and massacres the lot of them before sacrificing himself.
