Of the list of Marvel supervillains who you don't want to mess with, Doctor Doom has to be pretty close to the top of the list. He's ruthless, and sometimes strikingly, needlessly mean. So naturally, hearing a bunch of teens make silly jokes at his expense is absolutely hilarious.

By this logic, the line "His name's not Doctor Semantics" is one of the single funniest things a kid could say about Doctor Doom. Not only is it a pretty solid diss - as it's pretty much just a direct callout of the supervillain often being way more petty and overdramatic than needs be - but it's also pretty true, as after all, you don't name yourself Doctor Doom to become well known for your kind nature.

While Doctor Doom calling the Runaways "harlots" is also a pretty brutal putdown to aim at a bunch of kids, the moment one of said youths actually comes up with a comeback feels worse because because even literal children know Doom's flaws.
