15 DCeased Moments That Shocked The World

Although there is a final issue of DCeased yet to come out, it's pretty much written in stone that whatever happens in it will not be anywhere near as shocking as the issue that came before it.

Because, for a character like Superman, it seemed most likely that he'd either die at the very end of the series in order to save mankind, or survive the entire series - even if only he did. Which meant it completely blindsided fans when, in the penultimate issue, Superman's murder of the Flash saw the speedster's fingers become lodged in the Man of Steel's side, meaning that DC's greatest hero was now cursed to become a zombie.

After a heartbreaking moment with his family, Superman flies off into space, hoping to get far enough fast enough that the force would kill him before he could transform - only to be a moment too late, turning into an uncontrollable Kryptonian menace. Is there a better way to set up for the last issue of the comic than with a zombie Superman? We think not.
