3. His Rogues Gallery of Villains
Yes. Daredevil's rogues gallery of villains is a lot like Batman's. And some of them are incredibly off the wall like Stilt Man, Mister Fear, and Mister Hyde; but he's also got the quirky and interesting villains like Purple Man and Electro (also a Spider-Man villain). But I think it goes without saying that his two greatest enemies are without two of the finest in comics: the Kingpin and Bullseye. One is responsible for breaking Daredevil down, emotionally, spiritually, and physically time and time again. He's the reason why Daredevil is on a constant binge for justice. He's large, conniving, brilliant, and he's real. The Kingpin is such a fantastic character study in and of himself that he's managed to grab the spotlight away from Murdock in Daredevil runs many times. Even when Daredevil finally "defeats" him, the character manages to return with a vengeance and an oath to reclaim his throne and iron fist over Hell's Kitchen. And the other, Bullseye, is responsible for taking away some of Daredevil's greatest loves and friends. He's a manipulative psychotic with pitch-perfect aim, superhuman balance, and sensational fighting skills. He's probably the most requested villain in the Daredevil mythos by readers and often finds comparisons to Batman's foil in The Joker.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
