2. The Return Of Cyclops?
Phoenixes are good at one thing: resurrection. Could we see the adult Cyclops also make a return?
As already mentioned, perhaps Jean Grey would use her powers as the Phoenix to bring back her former husband and team-mate, Scott Summers.
With her returning, it would leave the adult Cyclops the only member of the Original Five X-Men whose adult modern day version is not currently active, and the character got taken out of the books in a way that was a real shame for the hero's history.
Phoenixes resurrect. They restore. They renew. Maybe Jean would decide it's wrong that Cyclops is not there to be at the front of the X-Men again and bring her old flame back.
And that doesn't mean that they would instantly fall back into their marriage or relationship (though many would be happy with that being the case too). But it would mean bringing back the really interesting soap opera drama of the love triangle between Jean, Scott and Logan... or maybe even the Jean, Scott, Emma Frost one too.
In any case, X-Men is always at its best when it's bringing the full on crazy mutant soap opera feels.
