Worth Reading For: A Rash That’s Annoying Beyond Belief!

Set in what appears to be a futuristic Britain, where identity theft goes way beyond your bank balance, I.D. thief Libra Kelly is on the run from the zillion-credit Albion Corporation after she found herself in bed with the boss’s son that one time.

This time, though, Libra learns first hand how dangerous dabbling with many people’s identities can be as she contracts the deadly ‘Cognizantus Rash,’ which taunts her with descriptions of how it’s going to kill her. Libra’s only hope is to track down the original owner of the infected I.D. while trying to escape from a rich-boy scorned.

Peter Milligan (“Britannia”) and Rufus Dayglo (“Tank Girl”) have created what is increasingly becoming a 2000AD ‘classic’. With its glowing colours courtesy of Dom Regan (“Trident”) and bullet-paced storyline it stands out in a crowd of excellent stories in this week’s Prog.

A. J. S. Scott was created as a homunculus by a mad English Alchemist who was trying to make rum from ink and seawater. He is still a fan of both and he has no comment on what happened to all the ‘No Exit’ signs in Islington Underground Station when he visited for Beltaine. You can send him missives by bribing the Right Raven with sour-strings, or: Instagram: @ajsscott Tumblr: andrew-scott-things.tumblr.com
