Dawn Of X: 10 Spin-Off Comics Marvel Must Make

Itsu, Wolverine’s Japanese wife, was heavily pregnant, but was murdered by the Winter Soldier. Logan thinks that his son is dead along with his mother, but in fact a strange man cuts the baby (Daken) from his mother's womb and leaves her lying on the floor.

After being ripped from his mother's womb he is placed on the door step of a wealthy young Japanese couple named Akihira and Natsumi. Growing up Akihiro was teased by the other boys of the village, his bad treatment over the years caused Akihiro to grow hateful toward everyone, except to Akihira whom he loved dearly. One night Natsumi confessed to Akihira that she didn't love their adopted son, and after years of trying she was finally pregnant. Daken (Akihiro) heard this and began plotting.

After the baby was born Akihiro confronted Natsumi and tells her that he has killed the baby. Natsumi attacked Akihiro which triggered Akihiro's mutant ability, and he "popped" his claws for the first time, killing Natsumi.

Daken’s spin-off could follow him throughout his child years, before his claws “popped” but during the time that Natsumi is pregnant and he might start to discover that he is “different” to other boys. This spin-off could follow Daken’s line of thought whilst plotting Natsumi’s baby’s murder; as well as the inner-turmoil which must have come with it.
