Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - 10 Squad Members Rocksteady Must Include

It would be criminal for Rocksteady not to include some of these iconic characters.

Comic fans lost their collective mind upon the reveal of DC FanDome's trailers for upcoming games and movies. Although Rocksteady announced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League a few weeks before, the hype cranked up to 11 once fans saw the teaser.

The banter is spot-on, the visuals are exquisite, and the premise is... bonkers. Getting the chance to play as the most entertaining DC villains to take down the Justice League after Brainiac turned them into psychotic killers is going to be exactly as insane as it sounds.

At the moment, four playable characters have been revealed: Deadshot, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, and Harley Quinn. Because of the epic scale of the threat, it's safe to assume Amanda Waller will utilise many more agents in her task force that have yet to be revealed.

When we look at potential members to include, we can't just look at cool powers or the character's popularity. Since Rocksteady focus on story and character development, which supervillains would best serve the plot? Which characters would have the wittiest banter or the most entertaining chemistry? With a release date in 2022, all we can do until we hear another announcement is speculate.

10. Black Manta

Deathstroke Suicide Squad
DC Comics

In the comics, Amanda Waller found Black Manta's skillset to be so diverse, she ordered him to join Task Force X. She found him to be so efficient, it wasn't long before he became the team leader.

So what makes this bug-eyed baddie a must-have for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League? Well, Manta would be crucial for underwater missions since there is no human being more knowledgeable about the ocean depths. You could explore sewers or marine terrain by swimming or by riding Manta's vessel, the Sea Saucer. You could use the craft's torpedos to burst open dams to flood areas or drown enemies.

That may sound cool... but what about missions that don't revolve around water? Wouldn't Manta be kinda useless?

Not really. Manta's wetsuit is armed to the teeth with harpoons, shock gauntlets, bombs, knives, swords, poison, and gas. And of course, let's not forget about the optic lasers in his helmet that can devastate practically anything.

With his versatility, there's no question Manta would be one of the best members on the team - in or out of the water.
